SR150 Sunroom Skylight Shading System
Motorized Fabric Shading for Sunrooms and Glass Roofs
SR150 is a motorized fabric skylight shading system for sunrooms, glass roofs, and sloped roof structures. It helps reduce heat, glare, and harsh overhead sunlight, making glass-covered spaces more comfortable during daily use.
For roof shading, fabric stability is just as important as shading performance. SR150 uses motorized operation, double-spring FGS traction and coated stainless steel wire to keep the fabric tensioned and controlled on flat or angled installations.
Reduce Heat and Glare Under Glass Roofs
Glass roofs bring in natural light, but they can also make the space hot, bright, ht and uncomfortable during sunny hours. Side blinds cannot fully solve this problem because the sunlight comes from above.
SR150 shades the upper glass area directly. It helps reduce direct sunlight, lower glare, and improve comfort in sunrooms, covered terraces, and roof glazing spaces.
Keep Fabric Tensioned on Flat or Sloped Roofs
Roof shading fabric cannot rely on gravity like a vertical roller blind. On flat or sloped installations, the fabric needs pulling force to stay stretched during opening and closing.
SR150 uses a double-spring FGS traction system to maintain fabric tension. This helps reduce fabric sagging, uneven movement, and loose fabric appearance, making the system more suitable for sunroom roof shading.
Improve Stability During Opening and Closing
When a skylight blind moves across a roof opening, the fabric needs to travel smoothly without shifting or pulling unevenly.
SR150 uses coated 316 stainless steel wire as the traction support. The wire helps guide the fabric movement and keeps the pulling force more stable. Its coated surface and 316 stainless steel material also improve corrosion resistance for humid sunrooms or semi-outdoor environments.
Reduce Loose Wire and Uneven Traction
A roof shading system needs stable wire control during repeated daily use. If the traction wire becomes loose or uneven, the fabric movement can become unstable.
SR150 uses a high-strength winding spool to manage the coated steel wire during operation. This helps keep the wire path organized, reduces uneven pulling, and supports smoother long-term use.
Cleaner Installation With Side Rail Support
SR150 uses side rails to guide the fabric and support the skylight shading structure. The side rail helps keep the fabric path more stable and improves the overall installation appearance.
The snap-fit side rail design also makes assembly more convenient. For installation teams, this helps reduce fitting difficulty and keeps the system cleaner after installation.
SR150A and SR150B Options
SR150 is available in two structural options.
SR150A uses the standard side rail structure and requires a balancer configuration. It is suitable for common sunroom and glass roof shading projects that need stable traction and guided fabric movement.
SR150B uses a different side rail structure and does not require a balancer. This simplifies the system configuration for selected projects while keeping the main function of stable roof shading.
The main difference is simple:
SR150A uses a balancer. SR150B does not require a balancer.

Flat and Angled Installation
SR150 can be used for flat installation or large-angle sloped installation. It is suitable for sunrooms, glass roofs, covered terraces, sloped glass roofs,s and roof glazing areas.
For outdoor installation, a drainage slope is required to reduce water accumulation on the fabric. When the width exceeds 3 m, a fabric support rail is recommended to reduce fabric sagging and water collection.
System Specification and Installation Guide
| System Type | Main Problem It Solves | Traction & Stability | Side Rail Options | Recommended Size | Installation Guide |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SR150 Sunroom Skylight Shading System | Reduces heat, glare, and fabric sagging under glass roofs | Double-spring FGS traction + coated 316 stainless steel wire keeps fabric tensioned and guided | SR150A standard side rail with balancer; SR150B side rail structure without balancer | Width under 4 m; projection under 5 m | Flat or angled installation; outdoor use requires slope; support rail recommended when width exceeds 3 m |

Final configuration should be confirmed according to roof opening size, fabric weight, installation angle, and site structure.
Application Scenarios
SR150 is suitable for sunrooms, glass roofs, skylight areas, covered terraces, sloped glass roofs, villa sunroom roofs, and commercial roof glazing projects.
It is especially suitable for projects where overhead sunlight causes heat and glare, and where the fabric needs stable tension across a flat or angled roof area.
Why Choose NewHoo SR150?
SR150 is not only a motorized roof blind. It is designed to solve three common problems in sunroom roof shading: too much heat, strong glare, and unstable fabric movement.
The double-spring FGS traction system helps keep the fabric tensioned. The coated 316 stainless steel wire improves traction stability and corrosion resistance. The side rail structure supports smoother fabric movement and cleaner installation.
With SR150A and SR150B options, the system can be matched to different project needs while keeping the main purpose clear: stable motorized shading for glass-covered roof areas.
Custom Project Support
NewHoo can recommend a suitable SR150A or SR150B configuration based on your project conditions.
Please provide the roof opening width, projection length, installation angle, indoor or outdoor installation position, fabric requirement, site photos or drawings, quantity,y and project location.
